The Baobab is a development journal published by the Arid Lands Information Network - Eastern Africa three times a year. The Baobab is a forum where network members share and exchange ideas on development approaches. The purpose of the exchange is to encourage replication of ideas across regional, national and international borders.

Articles published in the Baobab covers a wide arrange of development themes in agriculture, community development approaches, food security, water etc. The articles featured in this CD-ROM are drawn from issues of the Baobab
published over the last fifteen years.

 


This CD-ROM is meant for grassroots development workers in the arid areas of Eastern Africa. It was compiled to meet the growing requests for previous issues of the Baobab from the ALIN-EA secretariat.
